Pirates off the coast of Somalia recently captured a Ukrainian ship containing 33 Russian tanks and other dangerous weapons.
Russia will be carrying out anti-piracy patrol off the coast of Somalia.
The Pirates asked for a Ransom of 20 million US dollars.
Most of the Somali pirates come from the region of Puntland Somali.
The Sirius Star is the biggest ever ship to be hijacked by pirates.
The Sirius Star was hijacked with 2 million barrels of Oil.
Pirates mainly target area that has a fifth of the world’s oil supply being carried through it.
Motives are hunger and survival
